How we can help
Mobility and balance
Many older adults experience problems with their mobility. We have the skills to help you improve your strength and balance, giving you the confidence to get moving in the best way to help you enjoy your life.
Are you struggling with your breathing? If so, we can offer support with managing your breathlessness around activities you want to do, optimising your energy helping you improve.
Physio-led, safe exercise sessions suitable for those with long term aches and pains and acute musculo-skeletal conditions. Our therapists are APPI trained Pilates instructors bringing the knowledge of their Pilates and Physiotherapy training into the comfort of your own home.
Management of a long term condition
Physiotherapy is essential in enabling those with a long-term condition such as Parkinson’s disease or Multiple Sclerosis to remain active. Physiotherapy can assist in reducing the symptoms experienced from living with these conditions and provide support and training to carers caring for those living with these conditions.
Rehab following hospital admission
Deconditioning following admission to hospital can lead to older adults being at an increased risk of falling on discharge back home and result in them being less able to complete their activities of daily living. We offer the ability to re-gain your strength, fitness and confidence in the comfort of your own home where meaningful rehabilitation is proven to be the most successful.
Before and after an operation
Surgery should be a last resort for most conditions, and ideally sandwiched between courses of Physiotherapy. Physio beforehand can optimise your body for the operation, and Physiotherapy afterwards gets you as strong as possible to make the most of your surgical procedure.
