Founder Physiotherapist Jenny and her team share a vision of providing high quality Physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation to local people when and where they need it. They serve patients in care establishments and retirement villages as well as in their own home environment throughout Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire.

Jenny Giddings – Clinical Director

CHARTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST BSc (Hons) MCSP

Jenny qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2005 from the University of The West of England, Bristol. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including Acute Neurology, Neuro-rehabilitation as well as at Team Lead level within Trauma and Orthopaedics. She has a passion for rehabilitation and strives to make her clients journeys supported, personable, tailored and responsive. She believes in a personal, holistic model for her clients where Physiotherapy treatment is fun, enjoyable and effective.

Jenny is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy as well as being an APPI trained Pilates Instructor . She is also a member of the professional network AGILE, a representative body of Physiotherapists whose members strive to deliver the highest possible physiotherapy practise with older people.

4ward Physiotherapy Ltd is a proud NHS service provider to Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group and Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove. 
Jenny remains passionate that the business continues to deliver an outstanding Physiotherapy service to these services with its core values at the heart of its operations.

Louise Jenkins

Chartered Physiotherapist BSc (HONS) MCSP

Louise qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2006 from The University of Birmingham. Since then she has worked in both Gloucestershire and Worcestershire across a variety of settings. 

These have included Trauma and Orthopaedics, Acute and Surgical Medicine, Neurology and Stroke Rehabilitation. She spent two years in a Cardiac Rehabilitation team, during which time she was also the Therapy Team Lead.

Following a clinical rotation in a specialist Respiratory team, Louise has developed competencies in managing respiratory patients in their own home and is experienced in providing Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

Jenny and Louise have worked alongside one another for many years in numerous NHS settings before Louise joined the company in October 2019. Together they share the same passion to provide excellent care for the elderly and keep them safe, happy and active.

Louise believes that the client should be at the centre of their care and tailors her rehabilitation approach to their specific needs. Her experience in working with different people from a number of Healthcare Professions has developed her skills in offering a more holistic style of care.

Louise is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. She is also part of the professional network AGILE, a representative body of physiotherapists whose members strive to deliver the highest possible physiotherapy practise with older people.

Louise currently treats patients in the following specialities:

 

  • Mobility problems
  • Balance issues
  • A history of falls
  • Orthopaedic problems, such as surgery, arthritis or recovery from surgical fixation of broken bones
  • Neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and Stroke
  • Respiratory conditions such as COPD, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis and long COVID.
  • Recovery from a Heart attack

Lottie Newberry

Chartered Physiotherapist BSc (HONS) MCSP

Lottie joined 4ward Physiotherapy Ltd in November 2021 with the aim to support Jenny and Louise to continue to deliver the company’s core values to patients residing in North Worcestershire. She qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2005 from the University of The West of England, Bristol where she trained alongside Jenny. Her career to date has led her to work in a variety of clinical settings including Neurology, Neuro-Rehab, Stroke, Falls and Community Rehab. She has a passion for rehabilitation and has specialised in this field for over 10 years, undertaking a wide variety of training courses in this area to further her knowledge and specialist skills.

Lottie is a passionate physiotherapist who is driven to improve the rehabilitation journey of her patients, through providing person centred physiotherapy intervention. As well as her part time role at 4ward Physiotherapy Ltd, Lottie also works for the NHS at Worcester Royal Hospital in the Respiratory Physiotherapy team.

Lottie is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is a certified APPI Pilates instructor. She is also a member of the professional network ACPIN, Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology.

Emily McConaghy

Chartered Physiotherapist BSc (Hons) MCSP

Emily qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Birmingham in 2006 where she trained alongside Louise. Emily started her career in Auckland, New Zealand where she trained as a Pilates Instructor, teaching both mat and reformer classes. Upon her return to the UK, Emily has worked in a wide variety of healthcare settings across the NHS, Charity and private sectors in Birmingham, Worcestershire and London before settling in Gloucestershire in 2015. She has worked in elderly rehabilitation, falls prevention services, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, domiciliary rehabilitation and most recently, with young adults with complex physical and learning disabilities where she gained many skills, including delivering hydrotherapy sessions. Emily joined 4ward Physiotherapy Ltd in January 2022. 
Emily is a certified Pilates instructor with the APPI and is a strong advocate for the use of pilates as part of a client’s rehabilitation having seen its benefits for improving posture, muscle tone and flexibility. Emily has also used acupuncture in her practice previously and is currently working towards reinstating her membership with the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists to help compliment her treatments.

Emily is a highly dedicated and enthusiastic physiotherapist who has a keen ongoing interest in rehabilitation, applying a holistic and tailored approach to her treatment programmes. She believes in educating clients and their relatives in the reasons behind the therapy given and will always try to do this in a clear and understandable way.

In her spare time, Emily looks after her two young children and enjoys long walks with her dog whenever she can.

Mileage
